Conference 2021 - Collision Repair Association

It is with great pleasure that the Canterbury/Westland Branch has been chosen to host the 2020 New Zealand Collision Repair Association 107th annual conference which will be held from Friday 15th May to Saturday 16th May 2020 at the Marlborough Convention Centre, Blenheim.

The Marlborough Convention Centre in Blenheim enjoys the perfect mix of business and pleasure amidst world-class scenery and purpose built conferencing facilities. The venue is also within easy walking distance of various accommodation options and downtown Blenheim. Blenheim is situated in the heart of wine-growing Marlborough and is one of the sunniest towns in New Zealand. As usual the programme has been designed to maximise opportunities exhibitors have with the delegates. Trade stand opportunities are limited and will receive maximum exposure through a series of events in the Exhibitors area.

Following tradition, a theme was conceived and for 2020 in Blenheim it is ‘Boost your business in Blenheim’.


Auckland is one of the great cities of the Pacific Rim, home to 1.4 million people and buzzing with excitement. Yet its setting is a natural paradise. From sparkling harbours to native forests, taking in stunning beaches and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland is a jewel.

This years conference will be held at the SKYCITY Convention Centre, which will provide us with world class facilities and perfectly located in New Zealand's famed 'City of Sails'. Conveniently located in the heart of New Zealand's premier entertainment destination with its casino, a multitude of bars and restaurants, Sky Tower, SKYCITY Hotel and SKYCITY Grand Hotel all on site.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We have a range of sponsorship packages to suit you, we have outlined below the various options available. Sponsorship plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our event and we invite you to be part of our conference and you can be assured that we will do our best to give all sponsors and exhibitors value for their contribution.


Exhibitor stand (3m x 1.8m) - $1,100 + GST

We will also be providing the opportunity for businesses to exhibit products, services, management systems, etc.

The exhibitor area will be located next door to the plenary room of the SkyCity Convention Centre.

All breaks, lunches etc will be held in the exhibitors’ area to ensure that conference attendees have ample opportunity to renew acquaintances and meet potential suppliers.

Please note that in addition to the Exhibitor stand price ($1,100), you will need to register each of the personnel who will be manning your stand. We have available an exhibitor registration solely for this purpose – this registration does not include attendance to the Nexus Cocktail Function / Awards Evening on Thursday evening, the Friday afternoon activity and the dinner on Saturday night. We have a great Saturday night function - the Otbury & AkzoNobel CRA 100th year dinner. This dinner will be a black tie event and will include a charity auction, dress to impress and bring those cheque books!!

Friday 19 April 2013

photo seafood cooking schoolLeave the conference venue at 9.15am and head to the Auckland Seafood Cooking School to partake in your own cooking adventure. Using only the finest ingredients, freshest seafood and innovative seasonal flavour combinations the chef will reveal the secrets to producing mouth-watering seafood meals that you will go on to prepare.

After watching the demonstration, you'll roll up your sleeves, slip on an apron and with assistance of the chef recreate the extraordinary seafood cuisine. Then after enjoying eating your seafood arrive back to the conference venue at 12.45pm ready for the afternoon activity.
